How do I know which pallet would work best for me?

Our sales team at TriEnda has years of experience in creating and fitting organizations, in a multitude of industries, with the pallet size and capacity that works best for each organization’s needs.

Why should I choose TriEnda for my reusable plastic packaging including pallets and custom trays?

TriEnda is one of North America’s largest heavy-gauge thermoformers. We have an experienced engineering department and design team that is available to help design your next idea. We manage the entire manufacturing process because we extrude our own sheet and pelletize our resin.

What are the different types of pallets?

TriEnda offers plastic pallets manufactured using three primary processes:

What weight can a plastic pallet hold?

This varies dramatically between different types of pallets. TriEnda offers light duty pallets, heavy duty pallets, and stackable pallets to meet the many demands of a variety of industries. Please look at the specifications provided or contact our sales team to understand the specific weight rating on each pallet that we offer.

What is the difference between dynamic and static weight ratings?

Weight ratings for pallets are categorized into two primary capacities:

  • Dynamic Weight Rating: The maximum weight a pallet can safely hold while in motion, such as during transport or forklift handling.
  • Static Weight Rating: The maximum weight a pallet can safely hold when stationary on a flat, level surface or stacked on the floor.
How do I determine the ROI on converting to plastic pallets?

Please reach out to our sales department for an interactive ROI calculator link that will quickly and accurately determine the savings when switching to plastic pallets.

How much do plastic pallets cost?

This varies between TriEnda’s different types of pallets and the quantity that you require. Please reach out to our sales team to get you all the information you need.

Do you have pallets on hand ready to ship?

We do stock some of our more popular pallets and can ship immediately, but please reach out to our sales team for a more accurate lead time.

What type of material is used to make TriEnda’s Plastic Pallets?

We can manufacture many types of plastic, but some of the most common are High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS).

Can you manufacture any color?

Yes, we are can match and manufacture any color pallet or tray that you would like.

What products do you make?

TriEnda focuses on material handling solutions including battery packs, pallets, carts, sleeve packs, cargo protection systems, room dividers, wheel packs, and hospital beds. However, with TriEnda’s extensive team of experts in the thermoforming industry no project is out of the question. We thrive on problem solving, intricate design, and out-of-the-box thinking, so send our sales team any questions you have about our capabilities.

Do you make custom battery packs?

Yes, almost all our battery pack projects are custom. We have a sales team specifically dedicated to battery packaging that have years of experience with UN certification, lithium-ion battery packaging, and battery container systems.

What are reusable bulk containers and sleeve packs?
  • Reusable Bulk Containers: Reusable bulk containers are heavy-duty, returnable shipping units engineered from thermoformed HDPE plastic to replace single-use packaging like cardboard boxes and wooden crates. They are impact- and weather-resistant with four-way forklift entry, built for years of safe, heavy-duty material handling.
  • Sleeve Packs: Sleeve packs are a lightweight type of bulk container that combine a nestable plastic pallet base, a protective top lid, and collapsible side walls. They feature integrated locking systems like Ever-Lock2®, securing your cargo completely without requiring any plastic stretch wrap.
How do sleeve packs minimize storage space and reduce shipping costs?

Sleeve packs fold completely flat when empty, allowing their interchangeable pallets and lids to nest neatly inside one another. This compact footprint maximizes return-truck density and warehouse space, significantly cutting return-freight spend while eliminating ongoing costs from single-use packaging.

What sizes are available—and can I customize a BigPak® sleeve pack?

BigPak® comes in six standard sizes with multiple configurations. Need something different? We offer specialty and fully custom builds with distinct dimensions, performance specs, branding, and colors tailored to your operation.

Which sleeve materials can I choose from?

Select the sleeve that fits your application and budget:

  • Fiberboard Z-fold
  • Twin-Sheet Thermoformed
  • Fluted Plastic

All options integrate with BigPak® pallets and lids for reliable unit loads.

Are pallets and lids interchangeable?

Yes. BigPak® uses mirror-image pallets and lids that are interchangeable, simplifying changeovers and increasing operational flexibility at the line.

What locking options secure loads without stretch wrap?

Choose Ever-Lock2® or Peanut Lock to secure stacks and reduce or eliminate plastic stretch wrap—cutting consumables, time, and waste.

Are BigPak® reusable bulk containers automation-ready?

Yes. Unlike wood, BigPak® containers retain shape, size, and weight, making them ideal for automated material-handling equipment and standardized processes.

How durable are Reusable Bulk Containers compared with wood packaging?

Thermoformed HDPE resists impact, weather, and humidity and can be reused hundreds of times, far outlasting typical wood alternatives and lowering total cost of ownership.

Are bulk containers sanitary and easy to clean?

Yes. Smooth, non-porous surfaces are sanitary and easy to clean, helping mitigate contaminants—ideal for grocery, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical applications.

Do you offer conveyable models of BigPak®?

Yes. BigPak® includes a dedicated conveyable model (the 40"×48" TP/TC configuration) built for automated line integration, alongside the standard static/forklift-rated sizes.

Can I add branding, colors, or moisture-management features?

Yes. BigPak® supports custom logos and a wide range of stripe colors (single or multiple), and the HDPE construction is weather-resistant and designed to withstand humidity, helping protect contents in variable environmental conditions.

What about handling—forklift and forkjack access?

BigPak® containers feature 4-way forklift and forkjack entry, and the standard sizes are rated for both static/stationary loads and dynamic in-transit loads when handled by forklift.
